Perks Maps
In 2024-25, a Choice Pass high school senior, Gracelyn Roberts approached us with an amazing idea: creating maps of the Choice Pass business partners! At the time of her work there were roughly 60 businesses celebrating youth’s commitment to healthy choices. Gracelyn’s project is part of her efforts to achieve the Girl Scout’s highest ranking: the Gold Award. Utilizing her amazing artistic talents and spending hours upon hours, we are so proud of her work and contribution to the Choice Pass community! We hope these maps help you get out and visit some businesses!
Bio of Gracelyn
“Most of my life, I lived in a very rural area with my mother and our two dogs, where our nearest neighbor was a mile and a half way. I’ve been a member of the Choice Pass program for three years after moving to the valley in 2022, and I have never met so many caring, compassionate and enthusiastic people before. I love how much everyone seems to care in this program and I am proud to be a part of it. The valley is full of wonderful people who go out of their way to do something to give back to their community. I have been a Girl Scout since 2019, and one of the first things they teach you in the Girl Scout program is to help others. The Choice Pass Perks maps are my attempt to do just that, by providing a visual of all the great opportunities teens have of being in the program with a little bit of whimsy. I am so glad that I moved to Gunnison, because if I hadn’t I could never have found so many amazing friends.”
